I woke up in the middle of the night and suddenly felt everything shake and heard a noise like thunder, a train or a plane. I knew in my gut that it was an earthquake. The whole bed was shaking and the heavy wooden window doors swinged. It felt and sounded as if I was in a big, shaky old train and it was quite scary. Half asleep, I told myself maybe it was just a train passing by, but I'm currently on vacation in a small village where there's no rail whatsoever. Nothing fell to the ground and everything in my room is intact. It lasted for just a few seconds and I was able to go back to sleep. I think it's been a few hours since.
